About Us
“Oromia Women’s Association” is established for an indefinite period of time in 2001 in accordance with article 404 of 1960 civil code and regulation No.32/1967 proclaimed an association.
The association will have the following duties
Ensure the observance of social economic and political rights of women as enshrined in the federal and regional constitutions as well as in international covenants on the rights of women so that their over all participations and benefits rights are achieved on an equal basis Insure the independence of the association in a sustainable manner by realizing the observance of the by law and work procedure.
